Applications are now being taken for the Tournament panel of officials.

All 11 aside games have 3 officials appointed, meaning panellists can expect to receive 3 games per day - normally one in the middle and 2 assistant roles.  This equates to 2 normal matches per day as games are usually 30 minutes each way.

Referees from any country are welcomed and inexpensive accomodation can be sourced locally by the tournament committee.  Less experienced referees can volunteer for the Under 10 & 11 mini soccer competition where they will do up to 6 short games at 7 aside.

All referees are requested to attend the daily meeting prior to games.  The schedule for the week will be:

Monday 21st                   Games at 7pm for 12 officials (will be notified individually)

Tuesday 22nd                Parade at 11:30, Meeting at 13:00  Matches at 15:00, 17:00 & 19:00

Wednesday 23rd           Meeting at 13:00, Matches at 15:00, 17:00 & 19:00

Thursday 24th                Meeting at 13:00, Matches at 15:00, 17:00 & 19:00

Friday 25th                      Meeting at 09:00, Matches at 11:00, 13:00, 15:00, 17:00 & 19:00 ( 4 games each)

Saturday 26th                 Meeting at 08:30, Matches at 10:00 & 11:15.  Finals from 12:00  (2 games each)

 

Referee meetings will be at Lisnagelvin Leisure Centre - opposite Tesco in Waterside.Referees should meet in front of University of Ulster for Opening Parade at 11:15am on the Tuesday.

All referees are asked to bring black kits and alternative colours in event of clashes.  Referees asked to dress in suits (shirt and tie) Tuesday & Saturday - casual dress rest of week.
